A TV entertainment concept, not medical advice. Contestants supported by qualified health professionals. Changing how you eat? Talk to your GP or an Accredited Practising Dietitian.

Disclaimer.

DietWars is a television entertainment concept. Everything on this site is general information and promotional material about a programme in development. It is not medical, nutritional or psychological advice, it is not personalised to you, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Before you change how you eat

Talk to your GP or an Accredited Practising Dietitian. That matters even more if you have a health condition, take regular medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, or have a history of disordered eating.

About the diets described here

The camps on this site describe popular eating patterns as they are commonly practised. Describing a diet is not recommending it. Some of them - keto, extended fasting and any very restrictive plan - carry real caveats and are not suitable for everyone. We make no weight-loss claims and promise no results.

Contestants

People who appear on DietWars are screened before casting is confirmed, then guided and monitored by qualified health professionals throughout. What you see on screen is supervised. It is not a plan for you to copy at home.

If you are struggling

If food, eating or body image is causing you distress, please reach out. In Australia the Butterfly Foundation offers free, confidential support on 1800 33 4673 (1800 ED HOPE), and your GP can connect you with care.

Accuracy

We keep this site current as the production develops, but details of the format, the camps and the season are subject to change until commissioning is confirmed. Nothing here is an offer or a guarantee of a place on the programme.
